Lectures, workshops, consultations, meetings and panel discussions for researchers and inventors are behind us, during the event held under the patronage of the Polish Patent Office and the Agreement of Academic Technology Transfer Centres.
We talked about innovation, intellectual property protection, patents, commercialisation of inventions and research results, searching for investors, preparation for talks with investors, start-ups, spin-offs, raising funds for research.
We planned the speeches to be as practical as possible. We discussed the issues of:
- when and how is it worth protecting research results?
- How does the process of protecting research results and the patent procedure work – step by step?
- How much does it cost to protect an invention?
- How to develop a project for an investor?
- How to prepare for a meeting with an investor?
