The Bureau of Analysis and Expertise of the UG facilitates business contact with experts in many fields: social sciences, law and administration, economics, management, philology, history, biology, chemistry, biotechnology, mathematics, physics, or oceanography and geography. When economic entities approach the university with an order to prepare specialised analyses, opinions or expert reports, these are sent to the BAiE team.

As part of its tasks, the Bureau also creates and updates the register of experts at the University of Gdańsk. On the other hand, it assists UG employees in creating offers and coordinates the implementation of contracts concluded between scientists and external partners, including companies and public institutions.
